Cork - Tricking Tutorial #Shorts

Cork can be learned with so many ways, but this is the method that when I look back, I actually would have wanted to learn it with. This method is also great because you don't need crash mats and foam pit to utilize it. You don't even need to know how to flip when starting to learn cork with it.

I personally learned cork by doing a backflip with a full twist off one leg. I could already do a full and a gainer flash but I had to practice it a lot to foam pit. Not a bad method if you can do both full and gaiber but as a result I did not initially learn how to regulate my cork's inversion level. It matters because most cork variations are done on quite a different axis than the regular cork is usually done. Therefore, it was a struggle to learn to not invert after swinging and I would have much prefferred to learn it this way to avoid that issue. Anyways, without further ado, learn cork with this progression line:

1. Swing 540 + a turn.
2. Swing 540 degrees spin landing on the left leg.
3. Tucked and head over hips cork.
4. Learn to flip it little by little or by adding your flipping knowledge into it if you can already flip.
5. Learn to push your left foot towards the ground while leaving the right behind to land in an eagle position and later swing it.

This is not an easy trick to learn to do properly but you can do it!

@johzuke1 hey mate, so what happens in step 4 as compared to step 3 is that you lean more backwards and kick more overhead and then in step 5 you powerfully open the hips and bring the left leg down to land in eagle. Am I correct? Cause momentarily mine looks like step 3 and I want to proceed asap! 💯💯
