Cheney Says an 'Inebriated' Giuliani Guided Trump

Republican Representative Liz Cheney says evidence will be presented that an "apparently" drunk Rudy Giuliani counseled President Donald Trump to declare victory in the 2020 election before all the votes were counted. She spoke during the second day of the January 6 hearings on Capitol Hill.

What happened to presenting both sides of an argument. Surely I'm not the only one who has noticed that an opposing view is absent in these proceedings. This is essentially a way to have a "trial" publicly, but one in which only one side is represented. Only it's called a hearing. What happens now is that all the media outlets will equate these hearings as a "trial." The weak minded will then juxtapose the meaning of the words trial and hearing in their minds (by design) and soak up every last accusation saying Trump is guilty Something! They can't even name what he was supposedly guilty of. What was his crime? What are the charges? Trick question-there are none. In legally determining someone's guilt or innocence of wrongdoing you don't just sit there and invite everyone who hates the accused to speak against them and tell the world they did something wrong. You present the evidence and let people decided for themselves. Which is exactly what they want to avoid, because people would decide that A) There was no "insurrection" and B) Trump didn't incite anything-he told everyone to go home and was denied by Nancy Pelosi when requesting a National Guard presence.
