The plaintiff claims the defendant invited her on a trip to Florida. The plaintiff claims the defendant kicked her off the trip and never refunded her money, so she’s suing. The defendant argues the plaintiff is the one who canceled on them.

Something is not right with the Defendant. Plus, you KNOW she set up that first call to have a reason to tell the Plaintiff she was no longer welcome. The fact that they're family makes it even worse.

It sounds like the defendant wanted her cousin to be overly excited about her book club and she wasn’t. You can’t expect people to be as or more excited about something that they didn’t create. It also doesn’t mean that her cousin didn’t care. She explained that she was distracted by her own personal problems. Bottom line it wasn’t that serious to break a bond.

I feel like the Defendant didn't have the control over the Plaintiff like she thought she would. Glad the Plaintiff got her money back. If I'm a part of a club it's up to the leader of the club to inform everyone the details of a trip. I shouldn't have to call anyone and figure that out
