Garrison Sposito and Marion Nestle's Edible Education 101 lectures, "The Ecological Crisis as a Crisis of Agriculture" and "Linking Farm Policy to Health Policy in the Global Economy", streamed live from the University of California, Berkeley on February 2.

I take issue with the fact that population on this planet is not being taken into account.  A sustainable planet is not possible with 7 or 10 billion people.  Acting as if food is the ONLY thing a human being needs to survive is reckless.  How much water, trees, fabric materials (clothing, bedding etc), transportation and other materials does each person require in their lifetime?  This is the elephant in the room.
