Bench to Bedside Series: Conflict-of-Interest Policies in Healthcare

New York Medical College's Bench to Bedside series, presented by the Office of the Vice President for Research, added a new edition on April 21 focusing on conflict-of-interest policies and how they are used to prevent corrupted decision-making in the medical field. The presentation was led by John Rah, a partner at DLA Piper, a global law firm, where he advises pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, healthcare providers and suppliers on corporate compliance program developments designed to mitigate the risk of fraud and abuse.
