Discovery of exhaust leak on Fp red turbo

Thanks to a YouTuber and evo owner I think I have figured out why I have an exhaust leak out of my open wastegate dump pipe.

Its all explained in the video. I was not paying attention when I put this togethor and I should have.

I am not too happy with fp or any fender that sells this divided gasket. Such is life however.

Yeah man hopefully that's the cause. Would suck to have to yank the O2 housing or entire turbo/manifold off again just to change it but at least it's not overly difficult and the bolts were recently broken loose.

I see... so you're wastegate isn't actually leaking. Its that your exhaust from the turbo is leaking into your divorced downpipe.

I have a divorced wastegated down pipe on my GTX but it later ties back into the downpipe.

Like you said, if it recirculated you'd never have known.
