I just got flashbacks. I remember doing that "just stay on top, juat stay on top" as seven of us got caught hiking down a rock band.
Stayed on top all the way down and stopped in a bowl. thought "phew that was scary, but I'm OK". Then a wall of abow hit me and was buried about a metere inder the surface. Thought it had caught us all, but one guy was left on top of the snow and spent the next 20 mins getting us all out.

It’s a weird feeling, you always think you can outrun it but you don’t realize that it’s going the same speed as you. I was caught in a little one, just the top layer and I couldn’t do anything but ride it out.
