I've learned a ton from this channel but I think the most useful is that garlic chopping method.

This brings back memories of my grandmother. Her kitchen was the happiest place in the world when I was a boy. She fried her okra. She was a southern lady after all.

Thanks for bringing back those memories.

Hello! I can tell you that if you add cumin seeds, coriander seeds, mustard seeds and curry leaves at the beginning, and sprinkle jullienned ginger in the end, you will have a perfect Pakistani okra 'bhujia'. My late mother's special recipe. Love it!

Hi Wil. How are you? Since I found you last year during the first lockdown, you have just skyrocketed. I'm happy for you. This is a super easy recipe and I will definitely make it this weekend as I love all the ingredients. Thanks for another meal idea. Also, I am going to buy those cook books of yours. It's just a matter of time. Last August I purchased knives, pots, pans and cutting board from Zwilling when I saw your equipment. Since I can't sharpen my knife like you can, I have a box/holder so that they sharpen each time I take them out and put them back. Having the right equipment brings more enjoyment to the cooking process. Thanks again and take care!

I made this for dinner soon after I watched your video. I had picked some okra, tomatoes, and Chinese long noodle beans (they went into the stir fry too) from the garden. I loved the varying textures especially with the chickpeas.
It was all delicious! Thank you for the recipe!

Tried this for dinner yesterday, paired it with your tofu bulgogi and some whole wheat noodles for a complete meal. Absolutely delicious. I did leave out the chickpeas though, just the tofu was enough to give me the protein I need tasted amazing! I dislike okra and my mom was surprised to see me use the little bag of okra she had bought for herself. C'est simple, when Will Yeung uploads, I try ;P

I made it last night - it was SUPERB. We love okra, and I was making it the Indian way. My husband LOVES chickpeas, so double the pleasure to make it your way. It will be on our repeat menu. Thank you.

This looks so much like a dish that could be from the mediterranean Maghreb! I'll try that as soon as I can get some okras! For a more savory and spicy version I'll try it with cumin and Tunisian harissa paste.

hey Yeung, could you give us a crash course on-
how to make different types/ varieties of sauces/ seasonings for our everyday cooking?
for example, there are tons of interesting combinations possible with Soy sauce. Also, some dos and donts about it. for example which two things should not be mixed, which ingredient can be heated and which cannot etc...
