Originally from Gambia, 7 years ( seen a lot of artists from other countries ) on the JamRock with my wife ( Deck 10 ) & looking forward to years 9, 10 & beyond. It will be an affirmation for Africa’s contribution to Reggae to bring on Alpha Blondy one of the pioneers roots reggae. Will keep hoping. Happy New Year

The one person who should be given BIG PROPS AND THANKS IS YOU, WINFORD.
You worked hard to do what you did with all those different characters and mind…
One thing to criticize thou, when you hear the stage show shorts, then need to be fed directly so that there is true sound without distortion.

Finally, I hear what that guy was saying about people spending their money in Falmouth and not elsewhere…
I would suggest that the sponsors, PR people or the Gong crew / family work to HELP THE PEOPLE IN TOURISM who wait for those ships to come in to and then not make any money.

An example is the product placement merchandising which I am sure they have onboard.
Everybody can get a fair share for the pie if people are considerate…
Help the people help Jamaica grow.

Love him or hate him. Beenie is the best performer Jamaica has ever seen. He just knows how to command the attention and participation of the audience. The younger artistes need to learn. Their reluctance to learn is the reason why the older artistes are still outperforming them.
