You can do a lot with a 70's house like that. If it is structurally sound, "has good bones, " etc. At least you would be starting out with a roof over your head, running water, flushing toilets, electricity, a place to sleep, a working kitchen, and then you renovate a little at a time. Or you could live in an RV and renovate the whole house in one go. I hope you find a place that you and your family will love! ❤

If the paneling is in good shape it can be painted and you can repaper the accent walls with any wallpaper you'd love. So much faster and cost effective. Really impressed with how well that manufactured home looked.Of course, you have to be able to envision what they can look like.Have you ever watched DIY Wife on you tube? I wish you and your family all the best !

You're in good hands with the framily and your realtor. Starting from scratch on vacant land vs having buildings. I would choose the buildings every time because you already have the amenities. That could be worth $20-30k. You have a place for storage while rehabbing. You will get the right property!

Hi Dez - I saw you on David's channel & thought I'd come over to your channel
to check it out. You really have a wonderful, positive & happy disposition.
Make sure you as the realtor for a flood plane map. Lots of rain in Arkansas
and the last thing you need is to get stuck in the mud. And you need to know
the spots to avoid when setting up the other living structures.
Also, think about putting up the other structures on blocks, just in case a flood
comes thru, the units won't get water damaged. Just saying, think of
Murph's Law and ask a lot of questions, no matter how silly you might think
that they are. btw: I am a senior female, and I live in Toronto, Canada. It's a large
city and I subscribed to your channel. Good Luck.

I lived in a Modular home (don't know if there is a difference between modular and manufactured home). We purchased a lot in a suburban development. It was a "Shorten" home company, located in Pennsylvania. The models available ranged from cottage to two story. We picked out everything and the only change we made was moving the kitchen window. It arrived in two pieces and built in two days. Remains strong today. Would you ever consider a modular home and find property without any clean slate, with no demolition. Good luck in your search.

I really like the property you showed us. There is so much potential there and with all the other buildings you could make an awesome homestead.
