Scandal is an American political thriller television series starring Kerry Washington. Created by Shonda Rhimes, it debuted on ABC on April 5, 2012. Kerry Washington's character, Olivia Pope, is partially based on former George H.W. Bush administration press aide Judy Smith, who serves as a co-executive producer. The show takes place in Washington, D.C. and focuses on Olivia Pope's crisis management firm, Olivia Pope & Associates, and its staff, as well as staff at the White House.

Scandal has been teaching me some things this season! I know watch w/ my phone ready to Google or Urban Dictionary new vocabulary words (ie. Eiffel Towering). Leo being a "dustbuster" is someone who knocks the cobwebs off the kitty kat. I guess Leo hits all the corners and crevices. lol

I actually thought for a moment that Cyrus cared about Abbie when he brought Liv the money. Then Liv broke the spell, lol.

I kinda liked that Sue read Olivia.  She needed that.  It made her take action to heal.  You know, sexual healing.

I liked the the theme of this show about women, sex, intelligence, politics and double standards

Olivia holds herself to a higher standard because that is what she was taught. Papa Pope taught her that she needs to work twice as hard.

I think it's slightly HILARIOUS that you all sat there for the entire episode and spoke about an episode whose whole point was about the confines that women find themselves in within society and at the VERY end proceeded to say Mellie needs to REVAMP herself to be taken more seriously.

I thought you just said women she be judged by the content of their minds and not the color scheme of their outfits.

Great Review guys. I was so surprised that Huck and Quinn just left the body. I thought they were gonna go into B613 mode and clean the house and dispose of the body.

Liv is suffering from PTSD and is not functioning at her highest level.  She is not very present and that's why things are sort of muted.  Her passion is gone.

Cyrus acting like he doesn't care about Abby is a sign that he may be tired of being Chief of Staff. I honestly think he may quit the White House gig and go home with Michael.

Maybe I saw it differently but it seemed like Cyrus kinda was starting to like Abby and then she wanted to quit so he was like "fine forget it, just leave." I felt like he did care but he is such a hard ass.
