Hopefully this is helpful for anyone who is nervous about ordering. While drink names can seem complicated at first, you’ll pick them up quickly! Finding your favorite drink is a great feeling and, trust me, your local barista will be a lot of help if you ask them!
See y’all next week!

I don’t even drink coffee, I just enjoy the culture around it, and these videos are calming

I have an interview at a coffee shop in 16 hours and have now watched this 6 times this week. I watched this video when it came out and am so glad I remembered it’s existence

Just thought I’d leave this here as a suggestion. It looks like your chocolate powder, cinnamon and nutmeg are coming out of your shakers very slowly. If you add caster sugar (in a 1:1 ratio or less) into a container and mix it up then put it in your shakers it will break up the bigger clumps of chocolate powder that are clogging up your shakers. I find it helps heaps during rush hour and improves efficiency heaps. (Hope that all made sense). Love your videos tho 👌👌

I really wish more people would see this video. Back when I was a barista, I got orders such as a flat white with the milk separate, when they actually wanted an Americano and then wondered where the rest of their coffee was; and a customer who was adamant he wanted a cappuccino with no forth and would not accept that this was a latte, yet was very happy when I just made him a latte and sprinkled some cocoa on top.

0:29 Latte
1:00 Cappuccino
1:55 Cortado/Gibraltar
2:25 Macchiato
2:59 Double Espresso
3:40 Mocha
4:15 Americano
4:55 Cold Brew
5:29 Chai Latte

It's been months and I miss going to coffee shops! Thank you so much for this fun and informative video. Personally, I love the Caramel Macchiato, Cold Brew, and Chai Latte! I remember the local barista suggesting that I get Vanilla Latte with a non-dairy milk over caramel macchiato because of my lactose intolerance.

This actually helps me a lot, I recently found this kinda hidden away coffee shop & i didn’t know what the order, this saves me from so many awkward situations I could get into.

OMG, I've just realized that "cortado" in the US means something completely different than here, in Argentina (and I think that I may include a lot of South American countries as well). If you ask for a "cortado" in Argentina, it will be almost all coffee with a little bit of milk. We call it that way cause you "cut" (cortado is "cutted in spanish) the coffee with a bit of milk. What you call "cortado" here it will be "café con Leche".

I love the way this is filmed!!! I’m a beginner barista and although I can make most of these drinks, I can’t do the latte art anywhere near as nicely as you do!! Working on it☺️☺️ my fave drink is definitely an oat milk cappuccino !!

As a barista at starbucks, one of the most stressful parts of my job are usually because a customer didn’t know what they ordered, or a customer held up the line because they needed me to explain the entire menu. Thank you, everyone thats watching this video so they can get the right drink the first time!

A mocha was my first coffee drink too and it's the only coffee combination I drink unless there's some lavender or a mocha mint option. I love the hot coco comparison because when its cold I always think of if you combined chocolate milk with coffee, this is what you would get. Cold brew is magical for homemade iced coffee.

I watched this last night and then I dreamed that I asked a barista what I should order and they gave me a ham sandwich... And I'm vegetarian.

I really love your vocab and descriptions here! I got my knowledge from being quickly and informally trained at multiple shops over several years and there are some things I never knew how to describe to confused customers. Thank you for your education! OAT MILK IS THE FUTURE
