Domestic violence victim runs for safety before shooting

Surveillance video shows a woman running away from a domestic violence suspect who police later shot in Broward County.

Omg. My ex-husband did almost this exact same thing to me. He put his hands on me, in some kind of psycho rage, and I ran away. I had the keys to my job and I lived close, so I ran there and went inside. He drove up and started banging on the door, breaking the large decorative flower pots on the outside and threatening to break the windows. I was on the phone with 911. He then, suddenly, jumps back into the car and rams it into the side of the building and he's shouting "LET ME IN ! ILL KILL YOU ! LET ME IN !". Sad part is, when I told my family about the abuse, no one had believed me beforehand. Ugh, 16 years ago and the thought still stresses me out. I hope this lady is finally relieved of her burden with this crazy guy. It's so scary.

as crazy as it sounds, thankfully he did all of this so he could stay behind bars longer. an ordinary DV charge doesn’t often get a long sentence. this is what happens when you lack self discipline and don’t know how to control your emotions.
