The unveiling was broadcast survive the Jaguar website. In preserving Ian Callum's new design direction for Jaguar, it is deemed an all-new exterior design along with a break from your XJ series mould carried over on all previous generations. It is a longer, wider car seems much bigger than its predecessor. The front has clear links together with the executive car XF, however with slimmer, sleeker lights along with a larger, squarer grille plus more aggressive appearance. The rear could be the contentious part, like nothing Jaguar indicates before. The upright, swooping taillights, nicknamed "cat's claws", and black roof panels either side of the rear screen, which seek to hide the XJ's width, include the most striking aspects. There is also a standard full-length sunroof, that extends completely back with just just one body-coloured roof panel that this designer likens to bridges on yachts. The new XJ features a cutting-edge, all-LCD dashboard and console displays. The dashboard is usually configured to produce various virtual dials besides the obligatory speedometer. The console display presents different views to your driver and passenger, including control over a sophisticated audio and video system.
