Catch Your Own LUCKY SLIME | Slime Rancher 2 Tutorial

I'll show you a trick how you can catch your very own Lucky Slime as well Gold Slime in Slime Rancher 2.

A few other details I couldn't fit into this video:

1. Practice pulling pink slimes to your slime stand with your vacuum a few times before trying with a Lucky Slime (or Gold Slime).

2. There are other methods you could use to get Lucky Slimes to spawn. Instead of time skipping, you could vac up all nearby slimes and chuck them into the sea. You can also create an artificial Tarr outbreak and let them clear out the excess slimes for you.

3. I choose to time skip to the morning versus the night because there's no chance of a Tarr outbreak messing things up like there is at night. However, at night you also have Phosphors spawning which might increase your chances of a Lucky Slime spawn

4. WATCH OUT FOR LARGOS. If you know there will be a Largo in your path behind you, try to go as far around it as possible while pulling in the Lucky Slime. Or toss Largos over the ledge before grabbing the Lucky Slime. If you accidentally vac a Largo up while pulling in a Lucky Slime, it'll stop your air flow, drop the Lucky Slime, and the slime will despawn.

5. While this can be done with the Gold Slime, the Gold slime gets hangry over time and starts having a permanent grumpy face. Lucky Slime is always happy.

6. Speaking of the Gold Slime's hangriness, don't try to feed it. Or the Lucky Slime. Feeding them will make them despawn.

In the original, With gordo traps you can put the favorite food of the gold slime on them and get a gold Gordo, hard to pop it thougg

In Slime Rancher 1, When I see my Gold Slime hungry (sad and drooling face) This is what I do to feed it

1. Get Gilded Ginger,

2. Stand next to my Gold Slime and Save & Quit,

3. Feed it Gilded Ginger after it produces 5 Gold Plorts and hasn't despawned I Save & Quit again. (If it despawns I go back to the Save I did when I was next to my Gold Slime)

4. Vortex the Gold Slime back to the 1# Slime Stage and save, (If it disappears I go back to the Save where the Gold Slime made 5 Gold Plorts)

5. Place a Drone to sell all the Golden Plorts and boom that is how I feed my Gold Slime.

What if you just surrounded the podium with other podiums and tried to feed it? That way, if you knock it off, it would just snap to another podium. Not sure how many you can have at once.

I tried this when the game came out but it just despawned in the podeom, did they change it or does it have to be in the ranch

I think my slime rancher 2 is different because I can put a gadget anywhere I don't have those gadget spots I can place anything anywhere
