An incredibly polarizing set. Something different but a lot of pieces used in the construction of the box.

The second suit just has a clear blue minifigure head inside of it, to show its placed on a mannaquin. It is a new cowel with the mouth open and white eyes, so it can just have a regular bruce wayne head inside.

I love this as an adult collector that grew up with the Keaton Batman. The idea of a shadowbox display helps to reduce shelfspace, but still shows off amazing detail. I'd love some Star Wars shadowbox stuff like this.

I’m a child of the 80s that literally watched Batman Returns over and over when I was a kid. It’s one of my favorite movies of all time. I’m definitely getting this, though I might wait a few months to see if it comes down in price, like Black Panther.

My only cons are the ladders instead of stairs, and the lack of leg printing. Catwoman looks particularly egregious. I also wish there was some sort of slide for Bruce Wayne to enter the cave, like in the movie.

I think this set looks incredible. It’s unique and different, which is what I’m looking for. I am a big Batman fan, and I love the concept of a cave. It’s full of detail and I love the subtle functionality. It’s big, but not too big— I enjoy how the bat symbol isn’t so obvious. I was starting to think a different color might work better for the box, but I feel like black was the right choice. Not only do I think it deserves a 3rd party light kit, i think it might need one honestly.

Very interesting idea for a set. As always, I think we have to see the thing in person. But it gives me ideas for making my own MOCs that are more small-apartment-friendly

I was hoping for more of a daily bugle type of quality that was filled with tons of play features and pretty much every character from the first 2 movies and villians from the 3rd and 4th movie, then it would feel like a complete Batman movie thing and could then appreciate the shadow box design (as it is a cave and not as easily made into a modular building, which would have been the coolest. But that is too many parts used to compromise for a very flat play feature. I like the platform for the batmobile quite a lot, but the mini selection is just not enough. And when completely open, it reveals a lot of wasted space at the side to allow the middle section to fold in. so opening more than the 45 degrees is not really going to show well.

I am a super Batman fan. I love Batman 1989 and Batman Returns. I am for sure going to get this set. I love the idea of a Batcave that looks like this. I think I will get it at full price, if it doesn't ever get a discount. I am disappointed about the lack of premium minifigure designs. Penguin and Catwoman deserved better.

I'm definitely getting it. for the uniqueness of the build and that it can be compacted into an eye catching box with a easy to manage footprint. When closed it feels like a very "mature" piece. but i can also open it and fiddle with it with my daughter who is also a batman fan.

As an AFOL who builds anything Ghostbusters 2nd and anything Batman 1st this will be on my shelf. Probably add more lights. I collect ANY and EVERYTHING Batman that I like. Pez dispensers, clothes, stickers ANYTHING. Oh, and if you add some LED's you can nicely light it up so that the bat symbol stands out more.

I'm very very tempted to buy it because the set is just super unique and a very striking display set (same reason I bought 76989)
- Easily catches the eye
- Good volume of LEGO
- Doesn't take up too much space
I don't know if I would want to mod it to have the yellow outline, because it might come across as too on the nose. A muted black tone is just efficient; if I get sick of looking at it I can just turn it around and make it look like an appliance or a sound/bass unit.

(I'll make the final call once i see the price in my country though)

$399 is better than $450 US. The Cantina blows this away as far as value and mini-figures for $399. I wish there were more light-up functions or the use of glow-in-the-dark pieces. I wish the Oswald Cobblepot figure had a combined new hair hat combo with hair similar to Max Shrek. I would buy this if an only if there was a GWP mini-figure scale Duck Car for Oswald...that would make the purchase worth it. Thanks for your opinion Jang...This is a close to perfect set...corner cutting for the large brick build opening is on full display...pun intended. I love Batman, but I already have UCS Batwing, Batmobile, 89 Batmobile promo, and 4 additional minifigure scale Batmobile.

Will definitely be buying. Big batman fan in general and great to have a fully enclosed batcave instead of just a facade. Great original approach, but should contain at least 3 more figs
