This is the best race in the whole franchise. Great music, Tokyo vibe, sick editing, DK's drifting skills, introductions of new characters… It has everything and It's perfect.

This, in my opinion, is the BEST introduction to any Fast and Furious movie ever. The adrenaline rush combined with the music and atmosphere really do a good job setting the tone that we are in Japan now and this isn’t your ordinary street race. And it also gives a good introduction of who the main characters are, all in the span of 10 minutes!

So nobody talked about how classy is the man who started the countdown. And the way he said "go!"

The way they introduced drifting was a masterpiece 👏

from Sean asking "what do you mean drift?" and then the elevator doors open right on time to visually show him. This scene alone gives me goosebumps

Tokyo Drift will forever be the essence of true street racing and everything the car scene means, also, it's a real life NFS game

Fun Fact : the driver who did the drifting scenes in this movie was told by Justin Lin (director of the film) to drift as bad as possible. He in return said that this was a bigger pain in the ass as compared to learn to do drifting.

Almost 17 years, I'm still waiting for Part 2 of The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, only Racing & Cars.

In hindsight, Justin Lin’s camerawork was absolutely insane compared to the first two films. Tokyo Drift aged phenomenally!!

When DK gestures Sean to "come on" after watching him wreck again that level of taunt is enough to break a man's spirit.

Absolutely love the scene at :56, it's like him venturing into a completely different planet and realizing other types of life exist. Plus the sounds of the cars echoing, soooo good!

People: this is the worst in F&F franchise
Me: at least it's about racing, not saving the world.
