I made my own lock picks using an old wiper blade, pliers and sandpaper. Made the handles out of the wooden dowel handles on foam brushes.

Great job of exposing the "Schlage High Security" myth! They just don't seem to get it, not as bad as Master but pretty close. Why they dont stick to the Primus series is beyond me.

@LockPickingLawyer I see this was a Schlage test from the tail end of 2015. I re-keyed my house two years ago with Schlage but don't see a Schlage test in your channel since this one! What might it take to have you try out a modern Schlage? :) Or have they not changed in design enough to do so?
It's the standard single cylinder deadbolt and door knob design you can buy from most big box stores. No claims of "stronger than fort knox!" type BS. Just says it meets ANSI Grade 1 standards for strength and security.

Great video and picking on the Everest models. You can also taper one edge of the thin style wiper insert to use on the side pin and not worry about it binding in between the others.

Schlage doesn’t label the standard Everest as “high security “ only some people do. It’s really only a somewhat higher security product.

I’m curious to hear your thoughts on the newer “SL” series Schlage cylinders that use a sidebar/L-pins with an empty bible instead of a conventional top/key pin setup. They can also be had with primus sidebar but probably rare without paying a couple hundred for a registered setup.
