I calculated the top YouTube tennis analysts, scientifically: Gill is #1

Best takeaway - Nadal is the best singles player that doubles players fear. Makes sense. He feels the most accomplished out of the Big 3 when it comes to doubles, and his game tends to be a nightmare for net players.

I don't think we talk enough about how great Rafa's volleys are!

Average rounds is an essentially useless stat. Nadal's 4 finals show he's the most deserving and tantalized.

*Still waiting for Roberto to get the recognition he deserves*

The order of play is no.2 singles, then no.1 singles, with doubles as the tiebreaker.

So Monday comes on Thursday this week? :) Whatever, as long as it comes! Nadal is a very rare beast as athletes go. He's a fierce competitor when competing but out of competition he's a really nice, generous and thoughtful guy. He's a champion of champions in an individual sport, but he loves team play and it's truly where he's at his best, whether it's Davis Cup, ATP Cup, Laver Cup, Olympics, whatever. His parents always told him that whatever else he did, their dearest wish was for him to be "a good person" and he took it very seriously. Still does.

I think you made a mistake on Spain's combined tier ranking. You put RBA on the 3rd tier giving Spain a tier ranking of 4 not 3. But anyway I always think that Spain have this one in the bag so good pick!

Thanks for the link to the Andrey Rublev russian interview. I think he will have a really great year once he reduces his schedule and concentrates on the M 1000s and the 4 majors.

Group A is really a tough prediction! Don't forget Germany has a great doubles team with Krawietz/Mies, so they may be a bigger threat here.
The Serbia firepower I also feel is smaller this year, given that Lajovic hasn't shown much last semester. But still they can go deep...

Gill you said it wrong. Normally ATP cup will have 24 teams not 18. Davis cup new format has 18 teams

Oh no, as someone who wants to be a fan of Nick kyrgios I'm devastated to find out that he won't be attending the ATP cup. Not because the ATP cup will be any worse off, but because last year Nick rode the high of national pride and support and produced some of the most solid and high quality match play that I've ever seen from him at a grand slam. Again, the ATP cup will not be any less fun to watch for me without Nick, but I'm worried about what this means for Nick's Australian open run.

But Gill, you forgot that Zverev and Struff won't be playing doubles! It will be Krawietz and Mies, who are a top 4 doubles team in the world imo

I really like your singles player power rankings. Every choice made sense to me except Nishikori. When has he ever been as inconsistent as players like Paire? Even with Injury, i'd easily put him one or two tiers higher. But that's my perception, I dont have stats to show.

Anyone watched Stefanis’s YouTube channel 😂 he’s really getting into it

Gill you do know Krawietz and Mies will be playing Germany’s doubles right? They probably win both matches tbh.
