Hi Carolyn. I'm sorry you had to experience this on your vacation. Unfortunately, this has become the norm for our society. Everyone feeling entitled, and being very disrespectful to each other. It's good you stood your ground, Carolyn, especially bc it's the hotel's rule. Your past police training helped you remain calm which was good in this situation. It never escalated. If more people could remain calm and not jump the gun over situations, ready to beat the hell out of each other, our race relations could improve. But it's really become "my way or the highway".
