In Florida, my father-in-law is 90 with medicare part-c (Medica) . He hurt his back and was in hospital for 3 days and they gave him a walker. He's unable to stand up or si tdown with out assitance. Anybody know if insurance covers this chair and what the process is if we can get a prescription from his doctor?

Why is it so hard to show how far back these lift chairs go back and how far the legs go up. Most lift chairs and recliners in general the feet raise just so much and not in line with the waste at least.
