That router jig is like a minimalist router table on its side. Nicely done 👍

Well done Peter, you have a large number of useful tips and tricks buried within this build. All of them help with production but primarily ensure consistency and accuracy. Nice job.

Hi Peter, you should do a video of the router jig you used, perfect for people like myself that do not have the space for a dedicated router set up . Excellent video by the way .

You or possible someone else has created quite a challenge with that design, it looks deceptively simple once it’s finished!

Glad you caught the diagonal shelf insert problem early. I have had that catch me out more than once!

" More clamps ? You have loads already " Usual phrase from my wife, she sounds like a scratched record ;-) Nice work Peter.

Ahhh I was waiting to see how you made the taper on the legs. Great stuff. Thanks for the lesson.

great video. It appears as if you have several types of mdf. In other videos, the MDF piece looks like a "sandwich" with a thick brown MDF in the middle with thin green sheets on both sides. In this video, The green MDF is thicker and completely separate from the brown piece. I am intrigued! I am watching these closely because I planning on building these for my daughter. "The Millard Side Table"!!!!

You must have a lots of jigs from all jobs over the years you have done, which will always come in handy for the next time do one that's spot on, these are the thing the customer's dont see you do before you start the there job.

Hi Peter,   Your honesty and thought process really helps a newbie like me,  I have the same band saw and wondered if you upgraded the blade as mine tends to drift at times.  Thanks for the videos.

Hey Peter, unrelated to this video, but thought of you as you seem to work often with MDF. Any ideas on clear products to seal MDF. I am using black MDF and would like to protect it from water but don't want to alter the color at all. Thanks!

Those caps on the legs look great. 👌
Blows me away how people that do not like MDF make it a point to tell you so!
If you don't like it, don't use it, easy. No need to be rude about the fact on someone else's channel.
There's always grumble bums out there somewhere having a hissy fit, aye...
Any hoo, nice build, mate. 👍

Hi Peter I love your videos they are very interesting and informative. Was looking for some advice I want to get a saw that I can cut sheets down on but don't know weather to get a track saw or table saw. Was also wondering if a track saw is able to do small rips on wood like a table saw would.

You cant beat Jigs for production work. And you definitely made good use of them. Should I ask (tongue in cheek), What not enough clamps??? Sorry Peter I have a wicked sense of humour

Stupid question time Peter, but, why wouldn't you make the shelves first then fit them between the legs, it seems like cutting and trimming the shelf after its assembled would save some time would it not, ill bet your getting a real nice finish on them, pretty thick judging from the feet sticking out passed the wood on the leg, they look great

"Go on ... stick yer finger in there" ... says the guy with nine & a half.... 🙄🤣🤫

That little bandsaw is earning its keep Pete !!
I was gonna hold out for a 14" "proper" bandsaw but yer making me think twice now ....
Nice work ... as always..

ok, I tried building a similar table. I don't have a domino. Independent of the painting, how difficult would you rate this project? I am new to woodworking and I have found this much, much harder than I thought.
