Flying over Catania and Mount Etna (Sicily, Italy) - Flight Simulator

The Virtual Tourists take you on a scenic tour over Catania, the second city on the Italian island of Sicily with over 310.000 inhabitants. Catania was founded in the 8th century BC, giving at a significant history. It has had a wide variety of rulers and it survived earthquakes, raids and bombings. It is however most famous for nearby Mount Etna, Europe's second most active volcano, which has devastated the city multiple times.

Despite the misfortune, Catania still features many highlights of its glorious past, the old town is a nice tourist attraction. Make sure to spot your favourite locations, such as the Roman Amphitheathre, the Greek-Roman Theatre, the Duomo (Cathedral), the harbour (Porto di Catania) or the football stadium of Calcio Catania, the Stadio Angelo Massimino. We also fly towards and over Mount Etna between [06:31] and [09:56] after which we return to Catania for a last look over the city.
