Tbh the fact that the Frame Shift Drive doesn't work properly sometimes and drops you too close to (or in this case inside of) a star is actually kind of cool, gives a little bit more sense of risk to the exploration side of the game

Soul certainly didnt stay in the body after that one.

Worst that could happen was unsafe FSD drop and 1% damage

Have had this happen on a few occasions, and I've figured out how to use this same anomaly in frame shift (not witch space) to phase through a space station, coming into normal space literally 10 ft from the station on the other side. Would be useful for bypassing a blockade if that dynamic were ever utilized in ED.

But the scariest was hands down phasing through a star and finding myself shoehorned between it and a neutron star that was so close I nearly found myself in it.

casually tunnels right through a star like it's nothing

I was a bit scared of this at the beginning. Probably because I know what would actually happen if it had happened in real life.

Yall should have been around in the early days when the system had no problem dropping you between a close binary or right into one. Also when black holes meant death.

The FSD engineers never accounted for binary systems...

Josh sacrifices himself to save the girl that is also trapped overnight. Ending credits show his soul inside an animatronic and it’s eyes go from red to white. Spoiler warning for Fnaf movie!
