Białystok, the largest city in northeastern Poland

Białystok is the capital of the Podlaskie Province and is the largest city in northeastern Poland. The city is located close to the border with Belarus. The landmark of the city is the Branicki Palace, which is marketed as the "Polish Versailles". I do not know if the comparison is apt, since the palace is now the Medical University of Białystok, so you can not really enter to discover the interior. Regardless, it is still a really marvelous baroque residence, at least from outside.
