8th PRCM: Wen-Wen Li, Stable trace formula for metaplectic groups

Abstract: A theory of endoscopy for the metaplectic covering of symplectic groups was proposed by the author almost 10 years ago, and the elliptic part of the Arthur-Selberg trace formula has been stabilized since then. I will give an overview of the stabilization of the full trace formula for these coverings, which is indispensable for global applications. This is largely inspired by the prior works of Arthur and Moeglin-Waldspurger for linear reductive groups. This is a work in stable progress.
