In one corner, the MAFEX Invincible Iron Man by Medicom...In the other, Marvel Legends Secret Wars by Hasbro. Is this a fair fight? Nope! But they are just similar enough that this is still a VERSUS worth having!

you did a common mistake i see everyone doing with mafex at 4:50, mafex wins hands down the elbow. if you just pull the forearm up, you will see a slight higher than 90 degrees, you have to pull from the biceps first, then pull the forearm to get the 140 degree arm bend

I mean, yeah, the figure that costs 5 times the price beats the one that costs 25 bucks, whodathunk?

While the MAFEX figure is worth it, I really wish it didn't come with the Proton Cannon since it's anachronistic to the Classic Armor and it would have kept the price tag down by 15 bucks or so (plus the Marvel Legends version is more accurate to MvC even if it doesn't look as shiny, and it was appropriately packed with a Modular Iron Man). Definitely also hoping they do a reissue with metallic colors. The Marvel Legends has a lot of merits, especially for its price point. It's a nice figure to keep as a desk buddy and fiddle around with, while the MAFEX stays a display piece. Kinda like a stunt double vs. leading actor situation.

I really hope Medicom makes that same figure but in metallic red and gold, and maybe without the plasma cannon so it can be cheaper 😬

The problem I have with the mafex version is look how thin he is especially in the ankles, kind of ruins the illusion that an actual man could be under an armored suit. His ankles would have to be anemic.

Legends arms and legs are all new sculpt, not just pinless . Even the joints are bigger

I too think the MAFEX is somewhat better, it is amazing how these Marvel Legends and MAFEX figures look, like the jumped straight off the comic page.
