World's 1st Manual C8 Corvette Drift Car - Final Prep Before Heading To Paint - Ep. 24

The time has finally come and the C8 is ready for paint once we finish some final prep work!

This episode covers the installation of the trans axle mount, the new Aeromotive water pump and de-burring the entire chassis of any sharp pieces of metal.

As we dropped off the C8 with Hector, we also picked up the C6 competition Corvette after he spent a solid week refreshing the chassis. As he gets the C8 painted nice and glossy, we will shift our focus to a full refresh of the C6 before testing begins!

Big thanks to everyone for following along as my team and I transform this flood damaged C8 Corvette into a full Formula Drift spec drift car!

That a very smart thing to do about all of the spot welds, tab corners, mismatched body panels, and thighs that are not flush cleaned up. I remember seeing and hearing about the Chevy inner bedside spots people would just tear fingertips shredded

I have a c8 roller minus engine transmission. For $14, 000
It has aftermarket 20-21 wheels and tires with brakes.
Comes with interior 2 dashes and center console with steering wheel

It’s a lt2 all electrical wiring is still in it.

This is how a race car should be built. I don't get why people spend mega dollars on race versions of supercars. They are too expensive to race and not as serviceable as this kind of car. It is still a C8 Corvette, but an actual race version.
