Real one is emitting light and glowing low, but glass fill ruby is reflecting light, hence stones doesn't reflect light but observes it

This is not helpful for people, there are so many different tones quality, clarity differences from one stone to another, these types of posts only make things more confused, bottom line is if you think you have a natural ruby or most other gemstones, arround 1ct or above get it Gia tested as the cost of the test will be much less than sale price increase for having a trusted certificate, if your not confident to add the $70 cost added to your purchase then you probably don't have a genuine natural gemstone..

What about blue sapphire? How do u know the real from the fake ?

A very little difference. But the untreated and real one have little cracks and mostly pigeon blood color. Old Burmese rubies are best.

Light cant go tru plastic or tick glass but real gems can shine beautiful under light
