52 year old Metallica fan here.
I cannot describe the magic or the feelings we felt when Metallica kicked our asses. Goosebumps is the only word I have. This song comes pretty close. Honestly the only thing that's probably missing is the spark of youth that we had.

I wasn't expecting a good album but this album is great. I wasn't expecting another epic metal song from them but they delivered again. "spit out the bone". They already contributed so much to the metal music. They are over 50 years old and they still creating. I have no problem with load and reload. they are great albums. I just enjoy their songs and shows.. It doesn't matter if they changed their style or have short hairs. it's irrelevant. I am just grateful I happened to love Metallica and metal music. They have a big part of my life and my taste of music. I love them for it.

No matter what they do, there's no pleasing some people. This is better than anything I hoped for. It's got Kill 'em All style lyrics, Master of Puppets pacing and Black Album melody. It's Metallica, through and through. I'm ecstatic.
