Bible says God walked with Adam in the cool or evening in the Garden. The bible does NOT say God lived on earth only that He walked with man. Also Jesus said He will NEVER leave us nor forsake us. He is always with us.

YES 120 is the life span. Those who live passed 120 do so only through the grace of God. Very few people do live beyond 120 today.

The garden of Eden was just a place named as reference for the first man to inhabit. Actually it was not in Eden, but east of Eden that God formed the man. What special about it was because it was called the garden of God (see Ezekiel 28:18), but everything in the whole earth was perfectly created as well; as the Bible said “God saw *_every thing_* that he had made, and, behold, it was *VERY GOOD”* (Genesis 1:31). The earth during the early days of creation was a perfect paradise, and Eden was just a place named where the first man will live. The whole earth’s surface was deformed and desolated after the flood. Mountains, rivers and canyons developed when the earth’s foundation gave up water (Genesis 7:11), and so the earth’s geographical detail was altered. It is believed that Eden and the rest of the valleys around it were flattened or covered with mud during the flood, hence, nowhere can it be found when the water subsided the earth’s surface.

I believe heaven and earth are superimposed on each other. Only your eyes just have to be opened for you to see the other reality. Especially if you are born of the water and the Spirit! Jesus Christ then promised that for such people, He would come and dwell in their hearts and He would bring the Father with Him. Then, it only requires 'transfiguration, ' for you to see the other reality. He told us the Kingdom of Heaven is within you. It is just that for fallen man, even that part of themselves has been distanced from them. They cannot reach their inner true selves because sin has cut it off from them. With reconnection by Jesua Christ, the 'porter, ' opens the door for the Lord to come in and enter your house again and restore that life of yours that is in the kingdom and from which you have been estranged. That is why Elisha could pray for his servants eyes to be opened so that the servant could see that those that were for them were many more than those that were against them! Just because we don't see it, does not mean that it is far. It is just here with us - 'the kingdom of heaven is at hand.' Something happened to our perception at the fall. We fell into the flesh reality and lost our spiritual perception, which is our original default! In the flesh we were distanced from our true reality! It is that gap that the Lord helps us cross over.

My bet is, the Garden is under water at the northern end of the Persian Gulf. Sat photos show 2 dry riverbeds that could be the Pishon, and the Gihone. They join the Euphrates and Tigris right under the upper Persian Gulf. @5:40 we can see a dark defile left of Shiraz that goes into the upper Persia Gulf. This is the location of one of the old rivers. The other old riverbed is basically between the roads on the left of the Gulf, where it says Kuwait. The Earth is not a bathtub. The Flood waters are still here. The ancient coastlines are under something like 450 feet of water today. You have to remember, Noah was NOT a sailor. He gets swept out to sea some 50 miles and can no longer see land - he assumes that the entire Earth is covered by water. Obviously it was not, he just was too far away to see land.

I'm a Seventh Day Adventist and Ellen White, one of the founders of our church, wrote in the last part of chapter 3 of her book "Patriarchs and Prophets" that the Garden of Eden was taken to Heaven before the Flood and will be restored in the New Jerusalem when Christ returns. Some Adventists treat her writings as equal to or above the Bible and would say you're wrong. But I am one of the Adventist who believe that while she was inspired by God, her writings shouldn't be taken as seriously or literally as the Bible. So I would have to say that was an interesting thought. After all, nowhere does it say in the Bible that God needs the actual Garden of Eden to restore it. Just as we will be given new bodies at Resurrection, so to will the Garden of Eden have a new body.

Garden of Eden is right there in front of you but you can not see and know it because of sin. Garden of Eden is in the kingdom of God himself where sinners can not know and see. That is the garden God himself walks in and reign over it. You have to be holy, worthy and genuinely born-again to see it, where you will enter through Jesus and, Jesus will take you through to go to our Heavenly Father who sits on the throne. I am telling you of how Jesus took me through the beautiful garden to meet Heavenly Father at the other end of the garden where He sits on the throne. As Jesus and I were going to the Father, on the way we walked and talked as ftiends do, we played my childhood game called Peggy touch. We chase each other through the garden and I could hear our own laughters rang through the garden, over the top of the trees into the fields and out into the world. The location for the Garden of Eden is well expressed in Genesis 2 which was written after the flood. Tradition and accounts like this one injecting the many metaphorical perspectives that can be drawn from the narrative are very good yet often result in adding more clutter to the account.

You asked the question, " What happened to the Garden of Eden and the Tree of Life?" I ask, can you handle the answer?

The location for this Garden and the Tree of Life is probably at the bottom of Karakul Lake. It wouldn't be the only time God has hid a location under a body of water in the Bible. Sodom and Gomorrah are at the bottom of the Dead Sea (see salt sea, Gen.14:3). There wasn't a Dead Sea until after the destruction of these cities that were along side the Jordan River that flowed to the sea in the south before the blast that Lot and his daughter's survived.

The Pamir Plateau is the glacier fed source for the Rang Kul (the Dragon's lake, from whence came the dragon - Chinese Mythology) that was one large lake that spilled over on the south eastern edge of the Pamir's. Eventually this lake was reduced to a string of smaller lakes connected called "The Lake of Stars." The massive River that came from this lake is the Pison River that became known as the High Indus (Indus, not Tigris) in antiquity and was renamed by the British the Pamir River, denoting its source.

The first branch off of the Pison/High Indus/Pamir River is the Hiddekel/Kaxgar River. This is the only branch of the four major rivers of Eden that flows eastward away from the original home of Assyria in the mountains east of the Ariel Sea. The Hiddekel/Kaxgar River flows through Kashgar, the Land of Nod, a city Cain originally built. The sons and daughters of Adam and Eve eventually followed Cain down into the Tarim Basin. It would have been virtually impossible to follow the Pison/High Indus/Pamir River flowing west and southwest.

The Pison/High Indus/Pamir River branches off down stream with the Gaxartes/Jaxartes River that flows toward the Ariel Sea. The Euphrates River north of the Persian Gulf region was named after this river in the first millennium BC. The next major branch off the Pison/High Indus/Pamir River was the Gihon, still called by some the Dighun River and now the Oxus River, that also flows toward the Ariel Sea.

These four major rivers are the rivers that find their source in Eden.

The flood took place in the Tarim Basin, surrounded by the highest mountains on Earth. Chinese Mythology accounts for this flood that drained off to the east but could not put a date on it until recently, 3520 to 3519 BC. Noah and his family were in the Ark for a year and 10 days. The Ark beached on the highest peak, the Ararat, of the Kush Mountains, named after Cush, the son of Ham, the son of Noah before any known written language.

And BTW, Caesar did not tax any of the Indian tribes of North America. "And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed." Luke 2:1 Note: "all the world." That is just one of many examples! Lots' daughters said, "And the firstborn said unto the younger, Our father is old, and there is not a man in the earth to come in unto us after the manner of all the earth:" Genesis 19:31 Note: "there is not a man in the earth, " they just left Zoar ... there were men there!

The Purpose Of Life

As with any philosophy: the moment a person sees a flaw in one aspect - the whole thing will, and should, collapse.

For example, The Principle of Polarity says: anything that is polarised, such as black and white, are basically the same thing - colour.

However, that does not mean black is white or white is black when we say they are both aspects of colour.

Black is black and it always will be black.
White is white and it always will be white.

Of course ... it is possible to see both as grey but this (colour) is still black and white pixles / areas creating the illusion of grey.

This goes for everything we perceive - including dreams - since light is light and darkness is darkness regardless of subjective identification.

Thus, all philosophy is rendered worthless - because it makes perception malleable within the expression of delusion.

Perception, without delusion, allows all of reality to function eternally.

Therefore, the purpose of life (in this world) is to engender an eternal estate in preparation for the next world.

This is to say, we are required to leave any delusional estate (sin) to embrace the perfected mindset (Christ).

...because the next world is eternal.

This reality will ultimately pass away - along with those who embraced some delusional estate.

Throughout the Bible God refers to his children as trees- we have a trunk and limbs. He also refers to Himself as being " like a giant fir tree ", always green- symbolizing His eternal life. The tree of life was/is "God with us", the one known later as Jesus, the Christ. And the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was/is Satan.
