Ah! I was looking for this tape everywhere when was building a small deck by the side door of my house. No one knew what I was talking about when I was asking for it in the home improvement stores. I figured probably only contractors would know the product and it’s most likely sold in bulk, to much for my little project.
I gave up on it. But each time it rains it pops into my mind. 😅
I’d add several years to its longevity if I had it.

Can I come work for you! The tape seems like it just seals the boards from the sitting water being absorbed. I know nothing about the trade, but I feel like that may extend the deck life by more than a few years.
