This is the very impressive short video, Whodunnit, shown during the Apple September 14th 2021 event. This was all shot in Cinematic Mode on the new iPhone 13.

Just to be clear. This video was shot on the iPhone 13 range, which includes the iPhone 13 Mini and was not shot using the iPhone 13 Pro or the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Expect the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max to be even better when shooting video especially as both the Pro models of the iPhone 13 will shoot in ProRes Apple RAW.

With time and attention, this is the quality of video that can be filmed on an iPhone 13. This truly is cinematic video from the iPhone 13 and goes to show the improvements for the cameras on the iPhone 13.

I think it's fair to say that the iPhone 13 video quality is awesome and the iPhone 13 is the best iPhone yet.

All footage used in this video is the copyright of Apple. I'm using this video footage under YouTube's fair use policy.

Here's some tech specs from the Apple website.

Wow, their camera got better. It has depth of field. If it's front camera has 4k24 it will be a perfect vlog camera!

That needed to be in 24fps but yet still a good example of how greatly can a phone make a cinematic scene.
