Keeping X or A as an edit bind and switching build to triangle or Y and pickaxe to right stick works really well also, if you cant get used to editing with stick

Edit on release can mess up up cause if you accidentally edit you’re dead so honestly try it off

They removed the ability to use L3 for edit now. And if I do use L3 I can’t move because they removed the running. Now you either sprint or walk

I play 4 paddles. Top left is edit, top right is switch mode, bottom right is pickaxe and bottom left is jump. crouch is on r3 but where should my reload and sprint go? Sprint on L3? and not worry about reload? I’m mainly worried about sprinting without taking thumbs from analogs

Honestly edit on release on controller is never used by pros because it can give many edit delays so I recommend getting used to it off

Also edit on release is slower just use auto confirm edits to reset and confirm with optimal bind circle for claw and L2 for non claw.
