One of my favorite songs of all time 🙂

Thomas Leer really is one of the great underestimated and underplayed artists of the 80s and beyond. He had a fine voice and was very good-looking. This mix with Control Yourself is great. This should be played everywhere and even re-released as a single in 2013. Thank you for posting!

In Balcans we still listen to this superb music. Bravo!

This is so good, I can't stop listening to it. I'm going to buy this on vinyl.

I got this record in 2001, the track 'Control Yourself" seems to me a highly philosophic mantra (absurdly relevant to ethical behaviour freedom, love, and respect in a Western Setting), on a funky, extremely deep and layered melody, subtly repetitive, entrancing, and ear candy on warm tube amplifiers. For me this is up there with Drexciya and Severed Heads.

The instrumental extension of Heartbeat is 80s deelish. Long live the fairlight CMI! ~ Come check out Gag-bit Vinyl in the heart of Bushwick Nyc for early 80s/post punk/new wave/synth pop! ~ :-D
