Smoker's lungs versus healthy lungs

preview_player
Показать описание
This demo shows a healthy set of lungs and a set of lungs similar to someone who smoked a pack of cigarettes every day for 20 years. You can see that tar has formed a sticky black layer inside the lungs, which restricts oxygen flow and contributes to cancers forming. Choose to have healthy lungs, and say no to all forms of tobacco.

This video shouldn’t be age restricted: I started smoking at 11. It is never “too young, ” only “too late” when it comes to teaching kids about the consequences from smoking.

3 years of not smoking, I can say it’s one of the best decisions I have made in my life 💯😎

I'm 37 and I have never had a cigarette, marijuana, or vape. I intend to keep it that way.

9 days of no smoking from smoking a pack a day for 10 years. I come to these videos when I'm really craving a smoke. And this one has really showed me what it will be like if I continue to smoke for another decade. Wow. It's sickening.

EDIT: 39 days! I feel great

I regret smoking till now. Quit smoking a month before and still trying to keep myself away from thinking about cigarette. Watching these videos makes me stick to my decision strong.

My dad has passed away 2 months ago from lunge cancer. I quit smoking since then. I came here to see what type of thing was on my dad's lunge and it's heart breaking Please, if you are a smoker, quit that poison and fight it. If you are not, never start.

I’m only 20 and have been smoking for 3 years, I’m glad I saw this now because I’ll never touch a cigarette again, didn’t realise how much it actually fucks you up, and I’d rather go through the pain of quitting now than my family losing me

THANK YOU! My four year old was pretending to smoke with a straw today. He watched this with me and said he never wants to pretend to smoke ever again.

10 years smoke-free. I started way too young, but thankfully, I quit. I'm grieving, and the itch is there, but this helps.

Read a memoir from a medical examiner once. She described smoker’s lungs as looking pretty much the same as in the video. She also said the worst ones crunch when handled.

OMG…that’s such a dramatic difference.😱 My father died of Lung cancer 25 yrs ago, after smoking for nearly half a century. The cancer had actually metastasized into his brain almost 7 yrs earlier. His brain tumor was inoperable & they also opted not to operate on his lungs out of concerns that the surgery might spread it further. Wise decision too, because his younger brother who was also diagnosed with small cell carcinoma around the same time, did have his lungs operated on. That caused it to rapidly spread via the lymph system. He was gone within 6 months, whereas my father was ultimately able to survive over 7 yrs w/treatments. My mother never smoked a day in her life, yet her autopsy report indicated 2nd hand smoke as a contributing factor to her death. Smoking is an extremely poor life choice to make, so be smart & choose healthy lungs over a death sentence. PLEASE 🚭

Smoking damages nearly every organ and organ system in the body. In addition to raising your risk for heart disease, emphysema, stroke, leukemia, asthma, pneumonia, and tuberculosis, smokers are extremely likely to develop cancer, particularly fatal cancers.
