I love it. I absolutely adore the acting of every player in this movie…Mr Washington deserved the Best Actor Award. Which was denied. Harris Yulin, the actor on the left of MrWashington, is one of our great character actors. And appeared with Mr. Washington in Training Day (2001)

FUN FACT: The Judge was played by the late Rod Steiger, who is best known for playing Sheriff Gillespie in the original “In The Heat of the Night”, a movie also directed by the late Norman Jewison.

This movie/story of a prime example of "sometimes you can't go home." He should have never come back to his hometown after he got out of the service. He still would have made it. I hate he had to go through all of that. I hate injustice for ANYone! I am glad he got the hell out of Dodge after his freedom came. You BEST believe they were waiting on him. I wonder though, how do we know that killing wasn't a set up to set him up? How do we know Bello himself didn't kill those people in that bar? God's knows, and vengeance is his ♥️🙏
