When this came out I lived in Oakland California and it was ubiquitous. I was in middle school and I had made a friend upstairs named Keith (by the time we were teenagers he would become known as 'Keef wif da teef' due to having a gold grill since like 7th grade).

His mom looked dead ass like Adina. Keef seen his dad on the regular but it was just them two living there. She was extra quick to cursing and violence, she would get this fierce gleeful look when he gave her the least chance/reason. He got whooped at least twice every time I visited 😔 My mom used to try from time to time to talk her into taking it easier on him. He wasn't much wilder than us other boys; literally every kid in my neighborhood would break laws left and right. Keith turned out pretty good tho, he ended up with success and with respect in the street by the time I was 22 which is the last time I saw any of my guys. We grew up about 15 blocks from Marshawn Lynch the NFL legend, but football was not big at all for most of us cause the grownups would rent up the sports fields, we had no random green space at all.
