1972 Greco Les Paul Front View
Показать описание
This is the front view run down of the Greco Les Paul Vintage Japanese (MIJ) Electric Guitar 1972 (Made in Japan)
This early Greco Les Paul features a beautiful flame top, an easy to play slimline neck and tone for days.
- player’s grade, not a mint collector’s piece (and priced accordingly).
At nearly 50 years of age, it’s got some beautiful patina and character. See the photos for the full story, as there are dings on the bottom / side. Importantly the front still looks pretty clean (considering its age), a few dings and chips.
Make no mistake, this has been played and when you sit down with it you’ll understand why.
- I'm a fan of the slim neck profile and the tone in the neck pick up (I've never really cared for neck pickups before).
Neck is straight - set with tiny bit of relief (truss rod working).
Tuners in good condition - wind well and hold tune.
Frets have some meat left - they’ve just been given a shave clean up and polish + set it up to my preferred height with 11-52 strings.
Electronics look pretty original except, i think , the pick up selector... don't quote me on that though. If you're worried I can have a look and get the name. Pots have been given a clean and there are no crackles in either Vol / Tone pots (see videos).
- Neck Pickup 8.4 (have pics on request - reached the limit)
- Bridge Pickup 8.3 (have pics on request - reached the limit)
This is a really nice example of an early Greco Les Paul - but no means is it mint.
