Double edge razors are the ones I see my grandpa use. By the time I was in my teens I was getting free double or triple blade cartridge razors from Gillette for my birthday. I was happy to get a gift back then, but I know why were doing that now. I am not getting a close enough shave with ingrown hair with electric shavers, so I am going to try these Henson razors since I have been seeing them so much on YouTube. I have tough, wiry, coarse, "old man" whiskers (I'm 75) and yet using the AL-13 mild gives me a BBS shave in 2 passes without irritating my skin. It is the best razor I have ever used.

Great comparison shaving video action! Much appreciated. I have the Henson Mild and because with a fresh blade it accomplishes the first pass well even with heavy growth, and is superior on follow-up passes, it seems to be the one to stay with. I have the idea that Henson designed it first and since then has been making versions that help people with experiences they have when they don't use the Mild to full advantage. With a sharp blade in the Mild, who wants the Medium or Aggressive on follow-up passes? Your video helps people discover this truth which makes it quite a service. The Henson Mild is a brilliant feat of engineering. Their other versions no doubt fit some people's scenarios perfectly - still, the Henson Mild, for all who can make it work, is an awesome place to be.

These razors are so great. I think I'll give my son the titanium one and possibly have the top engraved for him when I teach him to shave. Great father/ son gift.

I have the mild one in green with the original design, and the new medium one. For me they're both excellent shavers, but I find i get occasional cuts with the Medium one, and always perfect shaves with the mild. I went back to the mild yesterday for my shave, after a week of not shaving, and it was one of the best shaves. I had to retire the medium one.

I’ve made a ghoul …my brother-in-law was telling me about his razor burn and how he can only shave one’s a week was so bad…. so I told him about my Hanson razor and I loan him my precious AL 13. And gave him some real shaving creams and a brush…..
Just over a week I get a message. . I’ve just ordered a Henson mild in blue. I can shave every day now. He told me he’s hooked is becoming an obsession . lol

I just got my ti22 mild, only shaved once, but i LOVE IT. my old razer is going in the garbage. No more bad cuts for this guy! Glad i splurged for the titanium for the weight.
