If more companies start to support this, than yes.

“This is a pc build with no wires”

Also, check all these wires out

Great concept, hopefully it catches on with other manufacturers.

I hope so, MSI calls it Project Zero.

This being a thing means we should eventually get more compatibility. It’s a dream to have 100% of wires hidden. (Although they can sometimes add to the look if you got extenders.)

This could be the future for aesthetic builds.

I don’t really like it because it just means harder cable management in the back and having more trouble making sure stuff is compatible. I also feel like cables especially with cable extensions, tie a build together really well.

I like the look of cables if you have extensions or sleeved cables. The case looks too empty without cables.

That's the whole point why you can only put that GPU with that motherboard. It's your everyday marketing scandal.

the cables can be part of the character of a desktop tho

Ah okay, so the wires under my desk dont exist. I understand

Wow, finally a way to get even harder cable management!

yes, makes me wonder why we weren't doing it like this

If they start making variants then yes, otherwise it would be one of those obscure builds that will go into rare and lost assemblies only a few hear about.

Remove the LEDs, put some accent color in it because it's way to white, and make sure there's enough space for the wires in the back. Then it's a good build.

The standard should be open so that others can also make things for it because i cant rely on one company keeping my whole pc upgrade path hostage

It's not a good option for smaller builds, because you want a smaller footprint with those and with BTF you need space behind the MB for those wires, so you need a wider case but it could become an alternative standard for ATX and bigger builds.

This along with the m.2 slots on the GPU and we’re seeing innovation

Like RGB, ITX, and other things, it's a cool option but I doubt it will become the standard

clean, but how much wider is the case because of the exteneded back, if your desk has a slot for the cpu tower, would it even fit?

I think it depends upon price, and if they decide to give options to allow you to customize it
