The 2nd video clip you showed with the washed out sidewalk on the CX810 was eye opening to me. I watched the remaining clips but that one spoke a lot to the sensor for me. Also - didn't know about the new Frigate UI - I'll have to check that out.

any chance I can get the link to that POE splitter that you use for that test camera set up. Is that in your recommended products list?

The washout on the cx810 in the evening is terrible. What’s the point of a camera if you can’t see all of the intruder.

I have both cameras. The cx810 is better during day. The cx410 at night with low light levels is much much better!!! In a cookie cutter neighborhood with houses bumper to bumper cx810 maybe ok. If you live in an area where houses are spread out a bit and night is really dark, the cx410 will see things in true color, and the cx810 just sees all black (in places the cx410 could see np). I know this because I swapped out a cx410 to a cx810 with great disappointment.

I have an idea for you a video using those cameras. Point them all to the night sky and see how they work with the moon. The stars and just see what they will do. I'm really curious as I'm wanting to do just that with one of reolink cameras if possible

it seems, the CX410 is better in lowlight and short distance

honestly the REOLINK 811 is time and time again the best overall camera.

I bought the CX410 now, but the spotlights wouldn´t turn off in smartmode when its dark although its light enough when i look at the image in livemode by spotlights turned manually off.
why?

Are you adjusting the exposure settings or leaving the cameras on Auto? I have more than one ET 4K/X and when properly configured they will eat the lunch of any Reolink.

The Reolinks are, well...Reolinks. Smaller sensors than the ET 4K/X and has the option for h.264 which will always provide a sharper image with less microblocking.

Great video and I am looking forward to more!

the cx810 is good for long distances. cx410 is for your frontyard or backyard, it is meant for close distances.

CX810 will read moving license plates at day without issues and you will be able to recognize facial features of moving people both at daytime and night time. The CX410 is not that good for recognizing facial features of moving people at night, it also has trouble picking up license plates at day. This is using it for long distances of course, for close distances cx410 will be better suited.

I have both cameras. My neighborhood does have decent lighting tho, keep that in mind.

You are spot on with IR for reolink. The IR in reolink cameras sucks.

It looks like you do in fact get what you pay for!

Reolink = junk, does not hold up to TX weather. Dahua Starlight or Hikvision Darkfighter series are a much better option. If you want simplicity in management and remote access, stick with Ubiquiti that has quality cameras.

DO NOT BUY REOLINK CAMERAS!!! THEY HAVE HORIBLE VIDEO QUALITY!! 4K AT ONLY 8100Kbps. you can not use lower res -then they use crop sensor and you lose half of angle.
