My daughter has been in a psych facility for 2 years after burning down my house. NO help was available for the 7 years before that even though she was diagnosed mentally ill. I was told nothing could be done till she did something illegal. Yes ignoring the problem is truly an injustice to the ill person and anyone they hurt. She had to commit a felony to get help. She was lucky, normally she would be in jail wasting away in the evil that comes with that.

In the 70's /80's we had no internet, social media or cell phones, drugs were illegal and mental hospitals were available. Children respected their parents and got whooped if we got out of line. We went to church on sunday and believed in God.
I see the problem in todays society.

When Hunter is brought up on charges for that, then maybe, I'll listen to your gun control rants.

I wound up getting into an argument yesterday with someone because I said the problem is that these kids come from broken families. And the rebuttals I got were "What laws do you propose to fix this?" and "That's not a solution, what should the government do?" And I don't know how to talk to people like that. The problem is cultural, we can't legislate that away. We have to change our culture. We have to go back to being focused on family.

I can’t believe the lies these cops told on such an important, national, scrutinized event. I can’t imagine the lies they tell daily on smaller issues to save themselves. The town uses 40% of their budget on law enforcement. All that military equipment put to good use.
