Makes sense.
Klopp saying he's run out of energy, then goes to red

This is No. 1 story in Germany today and it is in fact highly controversial. Rightly so.

A lot of Liverpool fans in this comment section lmao. In Germany, majority of fans hates RB Leipzig and the Red Bull brand in general. Klopp is really popular in Germany so for him to not only be apart of the RB brand but to be at the top hurts

This is exactly why he hated English media. Bloody baffoons

I admire Kaveh’s ability to tell us nothing we already knew in 25, 000 words or less ❤

I am german and I can tell you this is really controversial in Germany . Maybe not in England . But in Germany RB stands for everything the majority of foorball fans hate. We always thought Klopp is one of us, a football romantic, someone who loves the game and not only the money. A lot of german fans feel betrayed and Klopp lost extremly the reputation he had not only among BvB and Mainz Fans

Klopp does not owe anything to anyone, but people commenting pretending what he’s done isn’t controversial are clueless.

Kaveh on the BS again and sky pushing it for interactions

Kaveh keeps waffling pointlessly without saying anything.

As a liverpool fan
I wish him the best

It's not controversial. It's a "no go" for someone with Klopps Legacy.
Fans would have accepted this move from a young coach, who wants to take the next step. Not from somebody who reached everything at the Club level, already earned three shitloads of money, and just recently needed a brake

As a utd fan. Ive always admired klopp all the way from bvb. This is definitely the best retirement plan for him and i wish him all the best. Please Klopp dont listen to all this clowns. You've paid your dues. You dont owe anybody JACK. Go and be happy my guy. Peace ✌🏼

He is not a manager. He is now an executive. Awesome.

I think they should've clarified that its controversial *in Germany. Relative to the strength of grassroots football and club-fan ownership. Anywhere else in the world this is literally normal, if not expected. I mean its nearly the same move that Arsene Wenger did but with FIFA.

Trying to make a headline out of nothing. Come on Sky Sports.

In 2022 Klopp had this to say about RB Leipzig.
"I know how much the Red Bull idea is criticised by traditionalists and I'm one of those too".
He seems to be following in his former captain's footsteps.

Controversial how? You literally said yourself he’s not going back into management so what he said was correct, you’re just saying words for the sake of it

Well that's his reputation ruined, proper soulless pointless move that will isolate him in Germany. So much for being tired

As a Liverpool fan I do not believe this is controversial at all
