I hate when cities spend tax dollars on private entities and the tax payer gets nothing in return nor do they get a sayso. I think states should loan the money to these teams at a low interest rate. Let them teams pay for their own stadium.

RESPECT to the Buffalo Bills to stay outdoors. Might wanna consider changing their name to New York Bills, as they’ll be the only stadium in New York. 😅

Do the math on how much teams contribute to state income taxes via players. Its estimated at around 40 million a year in 2023 in income tax. Which will only go up. 20 years at 40+ million means that NYS comes out as the benefactor, compared to no team there, which was the possibility if no funds for a stadium. Erie county makes MILLIONs each game in parking and game day paramedics and police which is paid by the Bills.

Thanks for making this I see both sides...its should be 1/2 the public's property and give a tax
refund to people who paid into the stadium, after events the generate money like big concerts.
Pegulas saved this team and made it what it is today...endless entertainment for this region.
Even in the summer we are at training camp watching these guys. I would rather have that
then money lol.

Up here in Toronto I'm a Bills fan and know that area well enough. Western NY and Buffalo continue to be in rough times since the GFC and before that. No I don't think Erie county taxpayers should be contributing money to billionaires play projects, those $ should go into renewal and infrastructure. Where is the ROI for taxpayers here.

Terry Pegula could have easily paid for it. Years ago there was a ballot initiative in San Diego to finance a new stadium for the Chargers which the residents said no. The people there knew the Spanos family could have paid for it. Andrew Cuomo gave the approval for New York state residents to foot the bill and it was just wrong.

When you have Billionaires why must the taxpayers foot the bill???

The seats are so far away from the action. 1.5 billion $ and no roof, GTF ATTA HERE! Should've told the Bills to pack their bags cause no taxes would be funding this project.

I am literally a Buffalo Bills fan have been for life and I don’t want one single dollar of my tax dollars going to this fucking stadium when the guy that owns the Buffalo Bills is in the running to be one of the trillionaire’s in this country. If he doesn’t fucking pay for his own stadium if they win the Super Bowl this year, I think we all know what should happen.

Seating for 62, 000 and an additional 5, 000 standing. The pricing breakdown needs research - the figures quoted is not accurate according to official records - Taxpayers are not "footing" a large tax bill - certain amounts are being "contributed" and are being paid for by specific groups/persons. NY State is using moneys from the Seneca gambling revenues and other dollars not from increased tax burden, the Pegulas are are paying 800 million, the Senecas are contributing many millions, the NFL is "loaning" an additional 250 million with interest the Bills will pay back to the state from game revenue and the County of Erie is contributing. So check you dollar facts and the resources - these are all public records and what most people don't realize, the Pegulas are obligated to pick up any additional overhead costs. While the original estimate was 1.4 Billion it has now climbed to 2.1 billion and to help with that the Pegulas have taken in partners as "owners" . So, not knocking you - just letting you know you need to adjust your old facts to current day facts. And according to very good sources the new Bills stadium will be the most advanced stadium in all ways and while the seating numbers are down a bit, it is true the seats may cost more but the seats will be the most comfortable in the entire NFL and 65% of the seats will be covered and heated as will all seats be heated. And don't worry about that protective covering from the weight of snow - it is being heated and the water drain-off will be totally away from the stadium, . So spend a little time learning more about the new stadium as I have - I will never be there because I am handicapped and well up there is age.

Absolutely no need for a new stadium. The current stadium is a great football stadium.

I’m Giants fan living in upstate NY and my friends/family who are Bills fans are really worked up about the likely increase in ticket prices, season tickets and PSL’s for this new stadium. They fear that attendance will drop over the next few years, the newness and excitement will wear off and Roger Goodell will work with the Pedulla’s to move the team to Toronto…
