NEW YORK, February 17, 2015 — President of the Asia Society Policy Institute Kevin Rudd calls for China and the U.S. to adopt "a posture of constructive realism" in which they first identify areas "where they cannot agree," such as political values, before determining a list of issues (like climate change) on which they may be able to work together "in order to advance not only their national interests, but also their bilateral interests and the world’s interests."
