As a trucker who drives a t680 with the mx13 I have to say they did a good job on the sound mixing for the mx13. Its pretty much spot on. Hopefully they can go back through and revise the sound on the rest of the engines.

2 things amazing with those cameras. 1. At night they are able to get a brighter view and mirrors. 2. When it rains since the cameras are protected from the raindrops and the screens are inside you get a perfectly clear view of what is behind. I drove it at night in the rain, it's magic.

I’m an OTR driver as well and I actually have a 2023 T680 next gen. Tbh I don’t know how y’all deal with all that electronic chirping and dinging. I ordered my truck with a full collision mitigation system delete, no radar dish, No adaptive cruise, no blind spot just silence. Lol admittedly my biggest mistake was getting the Mx-13 instead of the Cummins.

Can’t wait for the rest of the accessories to drop, this will be the first time I could actually build my own IRL Truck

IRL the camera mirrors are cool just creat more of a blind spot in my opinion once you trust them and get used to it being on the truck you use the camera more than the actually mirrors outside the truck

Downloaded this and drove it earlier today and love it. Smooth ride and love the looks and interior and when combined with some nice chrome Alcoa rims it looks epic.

Been driving it all day long.
Was disappointed at the lack of upgrades. But this is a great truck to drive. Even with the 12 speed which is geared well enough for some moderately heavy loads.
I also noticed that they moved most of the older truck models out of the dealerships into the used truck market. There’s only 3 trucks in the Volvo dealership now 🤯

I was in Europe 3 months ago I rent a car and drove from Rome to Venice and I noticed most trucks has digital side mirrior it's clean and nice

Freightliner was the first of the US trucks to go with mirror cam and I’ve started seeing them without outside mirrors.

I know that irl truckers in EU / Uk do not like the tv cam mirrors because of fov and real distances are a little uncertain.. but that is all I've heard from some.. nice vid as always

I'd say IRL keeping the mirrors outside wouldn't change for not only legal reasons (we all know how long things take to change on the judicial side) but for backups in case the monitors go out/fail.

We have exactly the same mirror cameras in our DAF trucks in the UK, but you dont get the external mirror as well like you have.
