I have been lucky so far. Always check the feedback on ebay for sellers. I also am a seller and have had two instances dealing with ebay. Both came out in my favor. One of my buyers left negative feedback for me stating his item was not received. I responded indicating he never contacted me for a refund or any kind of workout. Just one bad apple out of all the transactions I have done on ebay.

All this makes me want to skip buying stuff from others and never sell stuff either. It's crazy! Before Covid, delivery companies would not leave stuff at the door. You had to sign for it or they would take it back and you could go to the delivery company and pick it up. We may have to go back to that.

Great video! You have to be careful also to buy Disney ears on the second market. There are fakes everywhere. I recommend buying a backpack or anything from a seller you already have a history with.

I’ve been scammed on Mercari on small things but these is why I always keep my transactions locked because there are way too many shady people.

A girl on Mercari scammed me too. She got a bag from me, said it was covered in DIRT and PET HAIR. When it was like new without tags and was sitting in my closet, used once. She sent the bag back. No dirt. No fur. But the BITCH stole my fucking strap to it. I am pissed and Mercari didnt take my side.

I started to sell on the Facebook Loungefly sale sites. I had two ghost Minnie’s and I set up two separate posts because one was damaged and one was perfect. All of a sudden some people started saying I posted the same bag cheaper elsewhere and some were jumping on the bandwagon. I sold one but decided to stop selling my stuff. People get really weird and rude. Potential buyers would act like they were going to buy and made me take more pictures with the date even though I had just posted pics with the date. Then they disappear. I am totally over it.

I once sold something to this woman during the pandemic when shipping was insane! I shipped it out the very same day she purchased it, but after two day’s she hadn’t got it yet. I asked her to be patient due to the insanity of the pandemic shipping slowness, and because tracking showed that it was picked up and mailed out on time, but she wasn’t having any of that. eBay does this crap where as soon as it’s picked up, they tell the buyer that it will arrive on X day. 2 days to get across the country during the November 2020 nonsense, so why would eBay lie to her? Clearly it’s my fault.

Anyway, since it had been ten days she demanded that I send her another one. Not wanting to get negative feedback, I shipped a second same day she requested. The very next day she asks for a refund. I reminded her that I just sent out a second one the day before, so if she wants a refund, she will need to ship it back. Days go by, and I learn that BOTH items arrived to her door on the same day, so I have confirmation that both arrived. She then asks me how to operate it, which confirms not only delivery, but acceptance.

I then end up with, you guessed it, negative feedback. She said that she never got it, and no communication! Who on earth was I talking to this entire time? You can appeal it, but eBay decided against me, even though I copied and pasted everything they should already have access to: our conversations, and the tracking of both items. Oh, but it gets better...

...a month later I get a message from PayPal. Apparently she disputed the charge with her credit card company, and they refunded her. PayPal would not let me even respond with any form of defense! So... ...she clearly had a problem, or at the very least, wanted two freebies, didn’t want to file a dispute with eBay, and did not want to file a dispute with PayPal!!!

I collect disney pandora charms and I've been looking for some specific disney princess muranos which are retired. unfortunately I had someone sell me 2 fakes from etsy, I returned them for a refund after almost having to open a case. You can tell they are fake because these specific charms are supposed to glow in the dark after being in the sun or shining your phones flashlight on it, but they didn't. Now I ask sellers if they can check but all the sellers I've seen never respond.

I had ordered the Mr. Potato Loungefly for my daughter for Christmas. Never received it though they said it was put by my backdoor. This is strange as everything is put by the front door on this white stand. I called Pink ala Mode and they replaced it free of charge. Could not believe it. Just want you to know what a great company they are.
