Two days ago I went to a repair shop with my HDMI not working. They asked for at least five days to fix it.
I left, and they called me a couple of hours later saying it was fixed. When I got there my PS4 was working fine on a TV and when I asked if they hadn't replaced the HDMI port, they said they "replaced a chip on the inside". And then they charged me a really expensive price. Now (only two days later) my PS4 stopped working again and thanks to this video I understand just enough of how a PS4 works to know they fooled me.
I'll be there next Monday with a friend to get my money back. Thanks a lot for the help!

Watched about 20 videos on how to do this, your video was the best one actually. So I made a special trip back here to thank you man. It worked , your directions and layout were perfect I can see your doing well in business doing what you do. Some videos had you kind of work the solder off of the posts prior ect.. ect... really came down to that heat and doing a quick swap not really complicated as some make it. So yeh Im back in action we have 5 Playstations in the house so fixing this one was a good learning experience that I can apply to maybe future problems

Question, once the hdmi port breaks the first time and get repaired by people like you, is it now easier to break again? I had it fixed by someone almost a month ago, and it came loose from my sons mom moving it to clean... The first time some kids running around house kicked/stomped on it. Had ps4 for about 3-4 years before this issue happened.

whats temps should the heatgun be at ? also how does the heatgun not melt or burn the board when you blowing it from underneath>? dumb questions i know but im just curious

Our church has a Canon XA10 with a port that no longer send out signal.

What the heat on your air gun that would be a big help. I tried mine had heat up to 500 f and it didn't do what u did . Please let me know how hot thank u
