Vitasoy has just released some soy-based greek-style yogurts, but how do they taste?

Over the years, plenty of companies have released coconut-based vegan friendly yoghurts to mixed reviews. Vitasoy have recently stepped into the yoghurt market by releasing their soy-based greek-style yogurts into Woolworths stores across Australia.

They offer a fantastic nutritional profile, but how do they actually taste? Let’s find out!

Coconut yoghurts are for those who don't care about their health. The saturated fats work the same as animal fats in the arteries. Because people believe nonsense about soy products, and this is also pushed by doctors who have no nutritional training in their curriculum, so many people are afraid of a food that can help prevent breast and prostate cancer. And in Australia, all foods - even fruit and veg - are required by law to inform the purchaser if they are GMO. So our soy products are generally free of GMOs. Any GMOs Australia produces are for international markets. Soy is also friendly to the land. They contain a large amount of protein (and in spite of the nonsense pushed by meat producers, we don't need very much) which is of high quality and are cheap. We feed most of ours to cattle who are going to be slaughtered. Kingland was sold in Coles. It's a soy Greek style yoghurt and was always delicious. There used to be a fruit one and a plain one, and some in smaller amounts for kids. I'm not a big fan of yoghurt, but I used to buy it sometimes. Not sure if they still make it. I live in a backwater, so we seldom get much variety here.

At first I found their flavour of soy overwhelming but it's grown on me! I do prefer making my own vitasoy yoghurt using Naturally Nina's recipe using vitasoy protein plus milk! Better tasting and even higher amount of protein

Just wondering have you done a review on the halo top plant based ice cream? The triple chocolate cake is amazing can eat the whole small tub tastes just like chocolate ice cream. Would be good to see a review on halo top icecream.

I love good Greek Yogurt, I tried this and I'm not going back to dairy youghurt. It's absolutely delicious! if not better than dairy yoghurt but with all the health benefits.

I'm not really keen on any type of yoghurt but I'd consider using the plain one if a recipe called for it and I'm going to give the strawberry and the vanilla flavours a try, Thanks.

Has been so long since I've had yoghurt, probably over 20 years ago back when I was in school. Though I prefered the yogos XD, I would like to give it another go, I have been curious about the coconut yoghurts.
